Colleen Jordan Christie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. Online services are offered as well as in person therapy in Beaumont, Texas. With over 30 years of experience as an individual, marriage and family therapist, Ms. Christie has served a broad spectrum of clients including adults, adolescents and school age children. Ms. Christie has also served as a Parenting Facilitator in the Family Courts of Orange, Jefferson, Hardin and Chambers Counties since 2010.

Colleen J. Christie is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor serving families of the Beaumont area over 30 years. After completing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology she completed the Marriage and Family Therapy training program through the Galveston Family Institute. Ms. Christie is an Approved Supervisor for both the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors. Ms. Christie developed her private practice in 1993 and works with a broad spectrum of issues including clinical disorders such as depression and anxiety and transitional issues such as divorce, midlife and empty nest issues. She also works with individuals on personal growth issues such as setting goals, life balance and personal motivation. She works in several capacities helping families relieve the pain and destruction of divorce. Ms. Christie has worked within the court system to resolve family issues serving as a family mediator, parent coordinator, parenting facilitator and court ordered therapist. Her mediation training includes general mediation training, family mediation training and CPS Mediation training. As a public speaker Ms. Christie gives seminars on parenting and adolescent issues, ethics training, stress management, sexual harassment and achieving balance for the public, schools, professional and corporate environments.
